Project Highlights

Located at The Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) in Uganda, the project is constructed by Energy Systems Limited (ESL) and installed capacity of 137kW ASTRO 5 modules. The power station was fully connected to the grid during Sep, 2023. The Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) commits to conducting innovative and relevant health research in infectious diseases. To ensure that center’s operations are not affected by power shortages during unexpected pandemic, The Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) set up an uninterrupted, cost-effective solar energy system to improve the sustainability of medical research.
