ASTRO N7 PV module is a new n-type series product released by Astronergy in May 2023. It adopts Astronergy’s self-developed TOPCon 4.0 high-efficiency cell technology, combined with 182*210mm large-size rectangular wafers, which fully demonstrates its excellent performance.

  • High-efficiency cell technology: Adopting TOPCon 4.0 technology, the mass production efficiency of the cell is up to 26.50%.
  • Rectangular wafer technology: Compared with traditional M10 wafers, ASTRO N7 solar panels are designed with 182*210mm large-size rectangular wafers, increasing the area by more than 15.6%.
  • Quality and efficiency enhancement technology: SMBB (Super Multiple Busbar), double-layer coated glass, and non-destructive cutting technology.
  • Light Redirecting Film (LRF) structure: It enables the module to better maintain its shape when under pressure, improving its durability.
  • High power and high efficiency: ASTRO N7 PV modules can reach a maximum power of 635W with a module efficiency of up to 23.5%.
  • Reduced BOS costs: Compared to conventional 182 square wafer solar modules, the installed capacity of a single string can be increased by 12.3%. This significantly reduces BOS costs, such as brackets and LCOE costs.
  • Increased power: Compared to the ASTRO N5, the ASTRO N7 PV Panel offers a 25–30W increase in power, which further improves the module’s power generation efficiency.

  • TOPCon 4.0 technology: The mass production efficiency of the cell is as high as 26.50%.

  • Anti-cracking ability of cells: Advanced SMBB technology is adopted to enhance the anti-cracking ability of cells.
  • Stress uniformity design: The combination of light redirecting film and unglazed glass makes the product more uniform in stress distribution, which not only improves the mechanical load performance of the product but also effectively enhances the impact resistance of solar modules.
  • Advantages of n-type technology: With advanced n-type technology, ASTRO N7 solar modules have a higher bifacial ratio.
  • Better temperature coefficient: Compared to conventional p-type technology, n-type solar panels has a superior temperature coefficient. In high-temperature environments, ASTRO N7 product loses less power generation and maintains higher power generation efficiency.
  • Excellent low-irradiation performance: ASTRO N7 products maintain high power generation even in low irradiation environments.
  • Lower attenuation: ASTRO N7 PV modules maintain stable power generation over their lifetime, reducing the loss of power generation due to module degradation.
  • High reliability: Through the use of high-quality materials and rigorous manufacturing processes, ASTRO N7 solar panels are able to maintain high power generation performance under a wide range of environmental conditions.
  • The low open-circuit voltage design of this PV module increases the single-string installed capacity.
  • The increased power output per module reduces the BOS (balance of system) cost of cables, land, racking, inverters, etc., as well as the LCOE (levelized cost of electricity).

ASTRO N7s adopt ZBB special solar cell design, combine with high transparency glass, black frame and MC4 original connector, to achieve a dual integration of aesthetics and performance.

The core technologies of ASTRO N7 PV modules include rectangular wafer technology, TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, SMBB technology, light redirecting film (LRF) technology, non-destructive cutting technology, etc.

TOPCon 4.0 technology is based on Astronergy’s TOPCon 3.0 technology and adopts industry-leading low-corrosion paste, LIF (Laser Induced Firing) technology, and multi-layer Poly-Si/POML technology.

Astronergy TOPCon 4.0 technology adopts low corrosion paste + LIF technology, which is mainly used to form contacts through laser-assisted sintering, greatly reducing the passivation erosion of metallization while ensuring good contacts and thus improving efficiency. Secondly, POML technology is mainly an upgraded innovation of the backside Poly-Si passivation technology, which improves the passivation performance through the usage of multi-layer doped poly-Si. At the same time, it reduces parasitic absorption and improves the Voc and Isc of cells, and allows the cell efficiency to be increased by another 0.3%–0.5%.

ASTRONERGY takes out insurance through Ariel Re every year, and the third-party insurance company can act as the ultimate guarantor of the customer’s rights and interests.

Inspect the appearance of the solar panels, test the module voltage and thermal imaging. And contact the manufacturer in a timely manner.

Contact the public email of after-sales service within the warranty period or get in touch with the salesperson at that time and provide the purchase invoice at that time.

First of all, the prerequisite is that the customer should ensure that their solar panels are installed, used and maintained in accordance with the provisions of the ASTRNERGY installation manual and are not included in the “Exceptions” of the warranty documents.
Secondly, the defect of the product needs to be confirmed as being caused by the substandard design, materials and production quality of ASTRONERGY, which has led to a significant negative abnormality in the power generation function.
