Project Highlights
Portugal Ínsua 48.5MW Solar Park, located in the region of Pias, covers approximately 80 hectares and uses 116,778 ASTRO modules. The solar park is expected to produce around 94,000 MWh per year over a 30-year period, providing green energy to roughly 26,000 households. Constructed by CHINT Solar, this solar park has ASTRO modules installed on a single-axis tracker system that tracks the position of the sun to improve the efficiency of solar power generation. Portugal has the unique advantage of renewable resources and actively promotes renewable energy development policies. According to Portugal’s 2030 National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), the government has set a target of reaching a total PV capacity of 6.6GW by 2025 and 9GW by 2030.
