Project Highlights
With 13 kilometers of long, high-capacity underground transmission lines, Japan Kirishima 20MW Solar Park is spread over an area of 299,700 square meters with 77,000 ASTRO modules. The project generates 21,000 MWh electricity annually, which is equivalent to providing enough clean energy for 6,000 households. The electricity generated was sold to Kyushu Electric Power Company under the FIT (feed-in tariff system) for renewable energy.
