Project Highlights

Soco 79MW Solar Park is installed on 84 hectares and 5 kilometers of high voltage lines, with 147,870 ASTRO modules. The solar park will generate 132,000 MWh per year and is expected to save more than 60,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year. The project helps the Dominican Republic meet their goal of generating 25% of the country’s electricity consumption from renewable sources by 2025.
The Dominican government has placed emphasis on energy from renewable sources and has implemented the ‘Techo Solar program’ to electrify rural individual homes for 500 families that currently do not have access to the national grid.
