Situated in the key industrial hub of Manisa, Türkiye, this project represents a premier commercial and industrial (C&I) distributed solar milestone, showcasing Astronergy’s role in accelerating the green factory transition for Sarıgözoğlu A.Ş., a titan in the Turkish automotive press and stamping industry. With decades of manufacturing excellence, Sarıgözoğlu A.Ş. serves as a crucial tier-1 supplier of stamped parts and dies for global automotive giants, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ford, and Renault. To meet the rigorous decarbonization demands of the global automotive supply chain, Sarıgözoğlu partnered with Ege Solar, an experienced Turkish renewable EPC firm, to deploy a 1.8 MWp distributed solar PV system across its Manisa facility rooftops.

Astronergy fully supplied its high-efficiency ASTRO N5 series n-type TOPCon bifacial double-glass modules for this rooftop installation. Given that automotive component manufacturing is a highly energy-intensive and precision-driven heavy industry, the reliability and stability of clean power are paramount. Astronergy’s ASTRO N5 modules, celebrated for their high efficiency, lower temperature coefficient, and exceptional long-term reliability, ensure a steady stream of green electricity for the facility. Scheduled for grid connection in 2026, the project will drastically slash operational electricity costs and reinforce Sarıgözoğlu’s competitive edge as a low-carbon manufacturer in the international automotive market.
