Chint was founded in 1984 and currently employs over 30,000 employees around the globe, ranking 46thof the China’s Top 500 private manufacturing enterprises in 2019. We have achieved over AUD$3 billion in operating income, during the first half of 2019, it has increase over 20% year on year (YoY). Our core business vastly varies from electrical to renewables, and from manufacturing to EPC. Up to 12% of sales revenue gets spent into research and development and currently holds over 4000 patents and over 1600 certifications around the world. Our main focus is to continue to develop “One Cloud” & “Two Nets” business strategy. As the future nears, AI and other smart technologies will be more relied on, as they will be needed to access and effectively utilise the cloud-based computing. This will be done by gathering information from IoT and eIoT. We hope to achieve that the cloud-based computing will be used anywhere and everywhere to become a world-famous smart energy solution.
Astronergy was founded in 2006 and currently has over 3000 employees. We are a renewable energy focused company with manufacturing and EPC capability*. Currently, we have a 3.5GW capacity of PV modules manufacturing facility and managing over 4000MW of solar power station around the world. Our manufacturing facilities are located in China, Thailand and Vietnam. Recently, our Astro series have been awarded the world’s first LeTID certification issued by TUV Rhine of Germany and the highest AAA level of operation and maintenance in the industry. In addition, we have formally signed a technical cooperation agreement with the UNSW in Australia.
*(EPC in China only and developing around the world)
Since 2009, Astronergy products was imported by a local distributor in Australia. From 2017, we have officially appointed distributors and also provide OEM products into Australia.
On Astronergy’s investment side of business, we have made partnerships with a local developer in South Australia with regards to building a large-scale solar farm. Currently, we have 2 solar farms in operation. One of which is 1MWdc and the other 1.8MWdc. We can expect up to 20MWdc of our solar farms in operation in late 2019. We have already signed the strategic partnership agreement to be develop another 150MWdc large scale solar farm in Australia and continue to seek partnership and development opportunities in the future.
In 2019, we set out a few major milestones for the Australian market. Firstly, we must setup our local office at SA with the 1300 number support. Then, a local warehouse should be set up for fast turnaround on products and support. Most importantly, we wanted to localise products and support such as, the .AU website setup and specify the power class that suits Australia STC needs. Fortunately, all the previously set milestones have been achieved.
On the other hand, we decided to move from a 10-year product warranty to 12-year warranty. In July 2019, we officially co-operated with Clean Energy Regulator for the Solar Panel Validation program. This program will be providing much needed support such as warranty, preventing grey imports and providing faster rebate for our clients in Australia.
